Trail Rating: This is a GREEN: Mellow hike, easy to follow, elevation gain of 1,000ft. and under, low altitude. Novice hikers welcome!

Sunrise Ravel Bridge Hike

See the sunrise over Charleston from the Ravenel Bridge! We will start from the Mt. Pleasant side and arrive at the observation platform around sunrise. After watching the sunrise we will continue to the peninsula side and then walk back. This hike will last about 2.5 hours.

To complete this hike, I highly recommend bringing at least 1 L of water, and a light layer in case the bridge is windy.

This hike is open to hikers of all skill levels. We’ll be hiking as a group, and nobody will be left behind or forgotten. This is open to men and children. No dog this time.
